Original Hot 90

The Original Hot Yoga (90 Minute Version) is the heart of Hot Yoga San Marcos.

Formerly known as Bikram’s Beginning Yoga, this class is a comprehensive 90-minute set sequence of 26 yoga postures and two breathing exercises performed in a room heated to 105 degrees & 40% humidity. Bikram Choudhury popularized it in the 1970s.

Although this class can be challenging, it is considered a Beginner’s Series! The postures are carefully cued step-by-step. Any BODY can practice this sequence— any age, size, shape, condition, walk of life, background, gender, or belief system.

The Original Hot Yoga offers a wide range of benefits for the mind, body, and soul. There have been several studies showing that regular practice can help alleviate symptoms of many chronic physical ailments and mental health issues.

The room's conditions mimic the environmental conditions of India, where the sequence was created. Practicing in a heated room can promote flexibility, improve blood circulation, and offer a number of additional therapeutic benefits.

Hot 90 Groove

Hot 90 Groove is a Kim Original! It’s a fun twist on the traditional 26&2 series. The sequence remains the same, but the addition of music provides a vibrant energy. This class is practiced at 105 degrees & 40% humidity.

This series offers a complete cardiovascular workout while building muscle strength and stamina. It is systematically designed to optimally warm and stretch your muscles, ligaments, and tendons. While Bikram-style yoga is known for its physically challenging nature, it is accessible to almost anyone.

Original Hot 60

This is the abbreviated version of the Original Hot Yoga Sequence.

All 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. This class flows quickly and some say it's even more challenging that the Full 90!

While the OH90 follows Bikram's dialogue and pacing, the OH60 gives the teacher some flexibility in sequencing.

Power Vinyasa

Power Vinyasa is an invigorating, powerful, energetic form of yoga where participants flow from pose to pose while connecting their breath to movement.

Challenge yourself to find new limits in your practice with this full-body dynamic yoga flow. Build strength & stability as you lunge, revolve and twist.

This class is heated to 100+ degrees and 40%+ humidity.

Hot Pilates

Hot Pilates is a mind-body exercise requiring core stability, strength, flexibility, attention to muscle control, posture, and breathing. Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength, and develops control and endurance in the entire body.

This is an intermediate level class emphasizing alignment, breathing, creating a strong core, and improving coordination and balance. The core, consisting of the abdomen, lower back, and hip muscles, is often called the "powerhouse" and is thought to be the key to a person's stability.

The room is heated to 100+ degrees and 40% humidity.
